Badenoch and Strathspey Ward (Highland Council Ward 21) is the new multi-member ward for the area stretching from Advie and Cromdale in the North East to Carrbridge in the North West, and Laggan  & Dalwhinnie in the South.

Previously, the area was split into five words, each of which elected a single councillor by the 'first past the post' system. From this election on May 3rd, the 'single transferable vote' system will be used to elect a total of four councillors who will represent the whole of the new ward.

A map of the new area can be downloaded as a pdf file from Highland Council's website by clicking HERE and choosing ward 21 from the list.
